About Cynthia
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California, specializing in psychotherapy for individuals and couples. I received the Presidential Scholarship at Boston College and graduated with a Masters Degree in Social Work, with a Clinical Concentration.
With a career in psychotherapy that has included over 15 years of working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings, I have extensive experience working with individuals with history of trauma and abuse, particularly sexual abuse, as well as issues related to anxiety, depression, anger, and grief. I now focus my practice solely on adults, and I value helping individuals and couples grow to their full potential by deeply examining barriers that they may not have been aware were even present. I also provide clinical supervision to post-graduate leveled therapists who are working towards their licensure. My experience in clinical supervision span across various treatment settings including outpatient therapy, school-based therapy, FSP, Wraparound, and Multidisciplinary Assessment Teams. I am an active member of the National Association of Social Workers, an organization that works to maintain professional standards and ensure ongoing training of its members. |
